EDC Scribes identifies, evaluates and deploys experienced free-lance study coordinators at investigational sites throughout the United States and Canada. Drug development today is plagued with slow patient accrual..an obstacle difficult to overcome.  Postponement of time sensitive tasks such as scheduled monitoring visits, interim analysis and data locks, due to simple data entry delays, serves to  further erode project schedules and increase costs. For Sponsors or CROs struggling to meet study deadlines EDC Scribes can rapidly deploy local individuals or teams to assist overwhelmed site personnel with data entry and other support activities.

EDC Scribes has pioneered "Just in Time" data entry services. We are rapidly building a comprehensive database of experienced free-lance study coordinators, in the US and Canada, who are available to augment your existing site team with rapid data entry.

History
EDC Scribes is a division of Adjuvant Research Services, Inc. Adjuvant is a clinical operations project management and staffing company established in 1993. From time to time, over the past 17 years, we have been asked by our Sponsors to help locate free-lance data transcriptionists. Recently, however, an increasing number of our Sponsors are experiencing data entry log jams.  For a small minority the reasons are good...a big increase in patient enrollment.  For the majority, however, the delays stem from overwhelmed investigational site staff struggling to do more work with less staff.  The result, of course, is delayed mission critical tasks such as interim analysis and data base closures as well as postponement of regularly scheduled interim monitoring visits.

Adjuvant, as a project management and staffing company, has focused it energies on becoming a key provider of services in the oncology therapeutic space. We have worked with many consultants and over the years have assembled a core group of strong and experienced professionals in multiple functional and therapeutic areas. Future Goals
We are continually expanding our roster of available EDC Scribes. We intend to have resources at all major research institutions and in most therapeutic areas within 12 months. If we do not have an EDC Scribe readily available or active at your institution, our recruiting department can normally produce a number of candidates for your review within 3-5 days of your request.
